Terms

These terms cover use of cognexuslabs.ai. They do not replace a pilot agreement or a commercial contract for ArtzAIn, and they do not govern personal data: the privacy notice does.

The site

This site is informational. CogNEXUS Labs LLC, a Washington limited liability company, operates it as CogNEXUS Labs. The site describes CogNEXUS Labs, ArtzAIn, and the artzain SDK. Nothing on it is an offer, a service-level commitment, or legal, compliance, or audit advice. Regulatory dates and product capabilities can change; the live documentation and any signed agreement control.

The SDK

The artzain package is free to install from PyPI and run locally. It is licensed under the terms published with that package. The SDK is not the ArtzAIn control plane. Connecting it to a production control plane, and the warranties that come with that, happens under a separate agreement. PyPI, npm, and GitHub apply their own terms to their services.

Pilots

Submitting the pilot form is a request, not a contract. If we take a pilot, the statement of work, data-handling terms, and deployment perimeter (your VPC) are written down before work starts. Until then, no SLA, no license grant beyond what the public SDK already gives you, and no obligation on either side to proceed. Where a pilot involves CogNEXUS Labs processing personal data on your organization's behalf, the data-processing terms in the pilot agreement govern that processing, including the commitments that Article 28 of the GDPR requires where it applies.

Privacy and personal data

What we collect on this site, why, who else handles it, and the rights you have are set out in the privacy notice. That notice describes what we do; it is not a contract and does not form part of these terms. Using the site is not consent to any processing: we do not rely on consent, and we would not bury it in terms of use if we did. Nothing on this page waives or limits a right you have under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or any other privacy law, and a term that tried to would be void.

Intellectual property

ArtzAIn, CogNEXUS, and the flock and hex marks on this site are ours. You may not reuse them except to refer to us accurately. Code samples on the developer pages may be copied into your own projects. The rest of the site (copy, layout, diagrams) is not a template for a competing product page.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site or the public endpoints behind the pilot form to probe, scrape at abusive volume, or submit content you do not have the right to send, including personal data about someone else without their authority. Decision-record examples on the developer page are illustrations, not live customer data.

Limitation

The site is provided as-is. CogNEXUS Labs is not liable for decisions you make from marketing copy, blog posts, or SDK samples. Production use of ArtzAIn is governed by the contract that deploys it, including any liability cap negotiated there. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, or limits a statutory right you cannot waive.

Changes

We may revise these terms. When we do, we update the date below and the lastmod in the sitemap; use of the site after a change is use under the revised terms. Editing this page never changes a signed pilot or commercial agreement.
